Koboz Kommish Report Week 1 2021

Welcome back Koboz’ers it is now 2021 our league is of drinking age what should we get? best to know what our drink will say about us…..

With the draft all done and lineups all set it is time to see who did the best of both category’s……. games!!!!!!

Game 1 Dreadnaughts vs Zulu Mind Warriors

Well our new member Jack was in for a big eye opening of joining a league that doesn’t give a crap about yardage and points per reception that a more “professional league” will do, leaving 12 on the bench the zuzus will be figguring this out for a while, the naughts brought a strong game and showed us our first new defensive points with 2 FR and crusing to a 40-24 win. zuzus may want to get a drink after this first game just be careful what you order……

Game 2 Screaming Demons vs Burninators

Its been a few years the dems are figuring it out knowing how to play the nation comes in as they always do ready to perform a scorched earth policy on the league,

the dems have seen this before understanding the nation tatic they were able to hold off the heat and take the win 43-38.

Game 3 Warhawks vs Vipers

A hated matchup these two cannot stand to be in the same room much less play a football game, the hawks had an idea that birds beat snakes….

the vips had another idea that maybe just maybe snakes are pretty resolute. they win 42-35.

Game 4 Dread Pirates vs Rebels

Having won a championship last year coach Chris set sail for Docking Bay 94 stadium to take on the rebs, who were bringing in the best of the best…..

the pirates laughed at this, they found it quite amusing…….

that joke was so bad the rebs could not concentrate of their team and got demolished 56-17

Game 5 Mauraders vs Kodiaks

The maurs hit the road this week to the Den a pit of despair were most hopes and dreams go to die, this week was supposed to be the maurs turn,

with despair one hopes to find hope you know the good stuff we can all have some hope

the maurs found their hope and with it they took down the daks 56-43

wow what a first week start the Vikes have redefined the deffinition of butt fumble apparently the ground CAN cause a fumble!!!!!

lets get to this weeks games

game 1 maurs 1-0 vs rebs 0-1

rebs get to host a second game in a row and they really don’t want to see another loss, it seems they were sleeping through the first game

game 2 hawks 0-1 vs pirates 1-0

The hawks scored late to make their game respectable but a loss is a loss and they don’t want anymore, the pirates have fortified their home marina and are looking to go 2-0 against the brothers…. the hawks will have this haunting melody as they arrive….

game 3 naughts 1-0 vs demons 1-0

Our game of the week is here, the naughts are pulling anchors and heading to demon hell spound stadium and the music is playing as they arrive…

game 4 nation 0-1 vs vips 1-0

The nation takes on a strong vip team that scored in the 40’s and looking to do it again, the nation likes fire and burning, here we have an instruction video of coach Chris showing how it is done.

game 5 daks 0-1 vs zuzu 0-1

we had a game of the week now we have this two teams out of the playoffs having to fight their way back in unless you are an owner of one of these two I don’t expect you to tune in, oh and why is zulu mind warriors abreviated to zuzu?…..

yep first thing I thought of, anyway it will get worse as the season goes on don’t worry for now….
